Privacy notice
Last updated 27 October 2026 · Applies to salenmusicgroup.com and our release pages (smart links) on the same domain.
Who we are
Salen Music Group AB (org. no. 559569-5718, registered office in Alvesta, Sweden) is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@salenmusicgroup.com. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish law.
Demo submissions
When you submit a demo through the form on our site, or email us directly, we receive the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, the role you select (artist, producer, manager or other), a link to your music and your message.
| Purpose | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Listening to your demo, replying to you and, if we both want to, starting a conversation about working together | Our legitimate interest in evaluating music submitted to us, and steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) | Up to 24 months after your last contact with us, unless we start working together — then for as long as the relationship lasts and as required by bookkeeping law |
The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that forwards the submission as an email and does not keep a copy for its own purposes. Our email runs on Google Workspace. If you would rather not use the form, you can email us directly.
Visiting the site
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. We do not run analytics on the main site.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request (including your IP address) to Google's servers when a page loads.
Some pages embed Spotify players. When a Spotify player loads or you interact with it, Spotify may set cookies and process data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
The main site sets no tracking cookies. It uses your browser's session storage only to remember that the opening animation has already played during your visit.
Our release pages (smart links such as salenmusicgroup.com/one-more-night/) may use the Meta Pixel to measure how our ads perform. The pixel loads only after you accept it in the cookie notice on those pages. If you decline, no pixel is loaded and nothing is stored beyond your choice. You can change your mind by clearing the site data in your browser.
Who we share data with
- Web3Forms — delivers the demo form to our inbox.
- Google (Workspace, Fonts) — our email, and the fonts on this site.
- Cloudflare — hosting and DNS.
- Spotify — embedded players.
- Meta — the pixel on release pages, only with your consent.
Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing, and to receive the data you have given us in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email us. If you think we are handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
